The Weekday Support team meets on a regular basis during the week to prepare K12 environments, curriculum materials and supplies for weekend services. Whether you like to teach Bible stories, inspire kids to worship, or build relationships with kids in small groups, joining the elementary team will give you a great opportunity to help kids love Jesus personally. The Elementary Team creates an environment full of fun, worship, and Jesus-centered teaching. The preschool team creates an environment for learning, fun and connection that helps Preschoolers explore God’s Word and know thatJesus loves them while also providing an interactive experience that will engage the hearts and minds of Preschoolers as they learn foundational Bible stories. Our nursery volunteers provide a nurturing and Jesus-centered environment for infants and toddlers, assuring parents that their little ones are in good care while they enjoy the worship service. Lobby greeters make sure the warm welcome continues through our doors and into the sanctuary.They help people find their way to where they’re going and point out important landmarks (coffee, restrooms, etc.) They stand right inside the doors of the church. The connection between church membership, church activism, and volunteering is explored. The lobby greeters are an extension of the front porch greeters. The FPG show the same level of energy as the parking lot team but with a personal touch. Lots of high fives, complimenting people, handing out stickers to kids, etc. Finding Group Volunteering Opportunities Preparation of seasonal mailings for nonprofits Serving (and helping prepare) meals at a community kitchen Planting. The Front Porch Greeters stand outside the front of our buildings greeting everyone with energy and excitement. The Wagoneers are always looking for opportunities to help families, make meaningful conversation with parents, and give kids a fun experience as they arrive at church. Wagoneers give wagon rides into church for all the kids arriving with their families. Church Health Services is in dire need of English/Spanish interpreters for our medical, mental health and dental clinics. They’re high-energy, they’re jumping up and down, they’re holding signs and smiling big! This team is responsible for “setting the tone“for the day. The parking lot greeters make our campus’s first impression to every person that arrives on Sunday.
